Hey guys! Welcome to Invest13! I’m a 15-year-old kid learning to invest, to start/run businesses, and to take my finance to the next level. I started on this journey roughly three or four years ago, around the ripe old age of twelve. 😜 Honestly, I have no idea why I ever became interested in finances. It’ll be one of the great unknowns of my life.

Reporter: Sir, why did you start studying finances at the age of 12, so you could become a millionaire?

Me: Dunno. It’s just cool and really fun.

Reporter: Sounds good to me. 👍

Some people think it’s a “dry” subject (it’s not), but I’ll stay goofy. Hopefully, that’ll make it more enjoyable for you. 🙂

Back to the point of this page, here are some quick facts:

  • I live in Kentucky, USA, with my parents and two siblings (ages 13 and 11), as well as their two dogs Gypsy and Marshmallow (yeah, try yelling at a dog named Marshmallow with a straight face).
  • My siblings and I are all homeschooled.
  • My Dad is a Web Developer, and my mom was formerly the Head Community Gardener for a seminary and later, Principal of a Nigerian school.
  • Our family loves to travel, and we’ve lived in England, Haiti, the Dominican Republic, and Nigeria for several months each.

When I’m not glued to a stock chart or stuck with my nose in a book, I also have interests in lots of different activities, ranging from archery, mixed martial arts, smoking meat, hunting, motorcycles, getting beat up by my brother on various video games, and playing the cello.

I also spend way too much time on Google Sheets, designing the latest “Ultimate Tool” for whatever my need is at the moment. It’s a lot of fun though.

That’s about it for now.

Thanks for stopping by! If you have a moment, please shoot me an email at terry@invest13.com about you, how you found the blog or any questions you have. I’d love to meet you!
